About Divecalc
Divecalc is a diving competition and results management software that
has been in developmenent since 1995 and in production use since 1996.
Today, Divecalc is used in several countries around the world.
System Requirements
Divecalc 6 works on any computer that supports
Java version 8 or later.
Support
Support, bug fixes and help in the use of Divecalc is available from the
author free of charge.
Most feature requests and localized rulesets can also be made, and they
are free of charge as well.
Features
- Full support for FINA-2024 rules, including 11 synchronized judges,
mixed syncro and junior team event with up to four divers per team.
- Support for the team events.
- Dive list correctness is checked automatically when the dives are entered.
The dive lists are also checked again automatically before the competition
is started, and list of invalid dive lists can be checked manually at any time.
- Modular ruleset system: support for almost any rules, e.g. national or
junior rules, can be added to Divecalc.
- Many rules can be implemented using user editable rules, which does not
require changes to Divecalc.
- Modular support for external displays and judge award inputs.
Currently supported displays and input devices are:
- Any external display that can show a capture from the computer's screen.
The display can be captured either from the computer where Divecalc is
running or the display can be captured from a remote computer to which
Divecalc sends data over a network.
- Divecalc Web Judge Pad system where any device with a network connection
and a web browser can be used as judge award input devices. This includes
for example smart phones, tablets and laptops.
- Live results on the internet.
Support for more devices can be added when requested.
- Supports competing more than one event at a time.
- All competition data can be exported in XML format.
- Participants and dive lists can imported from other files:
participating teams can send their participation data using a Divecalc
file, so organising team does not have to manually enter all dive lists.
